Overview
Lasseters is a luxurious hotel casino resort in Alice Springs in the Northern Territory, nestling along the banks of Todd River and flanked by MacDonnell Ranges. It is just 1.5km from the heart of the business centre, lies in the midst of tourist hubs, and is 18kms from the airport.
Launched as a simple country club in 1981, it later became Diamond Springs Casino and was sold. In 1986, it was once again sold and rebranded as Lasseters Hotel Casino in honour of Lewis Hubert Lasseter who claimed to have found a golden reef in Alice Springs. In 2002, seventy rooms were added to the hotel casino resort. Later, a deal with signed with the Northern Territory Government to construct Alice Springs Convention Centre.
Lasseters has always played an important role in the local life at Alice Springs. The hotel casino resort has been associated with most of the local schools, charity events, and sports teams in Alice Springs.
Recently, Lasseters underwent a development project worth $40 million. A new wing with 66 premium suites and rooms was added to the existing hotel. A new restaurant, swimming pool and spa, VIP gaming area, hotel reception, grand entrance, and health club were added to the existing facilities.
Lasseters participates in the Australian Tourism Accreditation Program. This means that it meets all the criteria and standards set by Australian Tourism Accreditation and can be trusted to deliver the best entertainment and gambling experiences.
